It’s Spyderco’s 40th anniversary, and to celebrate the milestone they took one of their most popular models and dressed it to the nines. This sprint run version of the Native 5 sports a stunning Thor pattern Damasteel blade, fluted carbon fiber handles, and an elegant 40 years commemorative logo.
While Brad Zinker has had quite a few collaborations with Böker at this point, the Urban Trapper is still the design he’s best known for. These production models have been beefed up from the custom version, with wider handles and a slightly thicker blade making for a more robust EDC folder – with five different versions available.
This isn’t your garden variety Gnome. Böker Plus and Jesper Voxnaes collaborated on the Gnome fixed blade, packing a 2″ blade and micarta handle scales into a pleasantly efficient, low-profile package.
If you like a large folder, Andrew Demko and Lynn Thompson have designed the perfect knife for you. Modeled after the classic Indo-Persian sword of the same name, the Cold Steel Talwar is practically a sword itself, with an oversized 7.25″ handle and mammoth 5.5″ blade.
Spyderco gave the beloved Manix 2 a makeover just for KnifeCenter, beefing up the blade with CTS-XHP stainless steel and rendering the FRN handle scales in a one-of-a-kind brown. These awesome modifications yield a new version of the perennial favorite folder that’s as collectible as it is functional.
