Benchmade 531BK Pardue AXIS

The Benchmade Mel Pardue folder is an ultra-light pocketknife. It is so light that you won’t know you are carrying it until you need it. It has a G10 handle with a nice pattern milled into it and the Axis Locking system allows for easy opening and closing.  It has dual thumb studs for opening as well. This is a very cool little knife. It’s sort of a “stealth” carry knife for when you might need one but don’t want to be weighed down. You can see them atwww.knifecenter.com
Here is what Benchmade has to say about it:

Description
BM531BK: 531BK AXIS | Pardue Design
BenchmadeThe ultimate lightweight carry now comes with G10 or molded handles. The Model 531 is based on the Mel Pardue designed Model 350. The basic looks are the same with the spear point blade and coffin style handle design but, the AXIS lock was incorporated for added performance function. The overall design was slimmed down for a low profile, low drag carry, and the weight is still incredibly light. So if you liked the Model 350, you’re going to love the Model 531.
