Cold Steel Combat Fixed Blades
Cold Steel constantly amazes us with their creative designs and models. They have expensive, finely made folders and very inexpensive large fixed blades. These combat fixed blades fall into the latter category. They had these models last year with cord wrapped handles, but these replacements have moded plastic handles and are still very economical and monster large. Any GI can afford these blades and, if they get left behind, it’s not a tragedy.

Cold Steel Pocket Bushman Folder with 4-1/2″ Blade
Cold Steel created this Pocket Bushman knife to be an all around hunting knife and to be tough and basically, bullet proof. They wanted a knife that would stand up to every day use or, if you packed it away in hunting gear or an emergency pack, would come out in a few years or decades and be a reliable tool. We think they have succeeded. The lock is very clever and simple with a “pull” at the end of the handle that releases it.

Cold Steel Bowie Blade Bushman 7″ Fixed Blade Survival Knife
The Tactical Bushman? Seems a strange mixing of worlds, but that is basically what Cold Steel has created by matching up a survival sheath with their popular Bowie Blade Bushman. The one piece Bushman can be affixed to the top of a stick as a spear, or used as a standard fixed blade. The sheath is heavy gauge nylon with a reinforced tip, and a piggyback pouch large enough to fit a 6 inch folder.
