We’re proud to welcome two new brands to Knifecenter.com-Fox 40, a top name in safety and sports whistles; and Exotac, manufacturer of fantastic firestarters and survival gear. Let’s meet the new family!
Fox 40 Whistles are designed for everything from marine safety and outdoor survival to sports refereeing. They’re engineered for reliability, ease-of-use, and most importantly, to be heard! Fox 40 whistles can generate up to 115 dB, and can be heard for miles above ambient noise such as crashing waves . Fox 40 whistles use pealess technology to improve performance, eliminate “jamming”, and ensure cleanliness (cork “peas” can harbor moisture and bacteria). Product of Canada.
Exotac fire starters and match cases are made for demanding survivalists and campers everywhere! These guys are dedicated to quality, and use small production runs to allow for constant improvement. Whether it’s their tungsten carbide fire starters or their match cases, they’ll be there for you to count on when you absolutely need to start a fire.
These new brands make exciting additions to the Knifecenter family-and oh yeah, great gifts too! Take a look at www.knifecenter.com!

Every once in a while at the Knifecenter, we are lucky enough to add a new brand to our family. SCAR Blades, a company started by two brothers and based in Idaho Falls, Idaho, produces custom hand-built blades for the outdoors, law enforcement, and military communities.
Most SCAR knives are made from 1095 high-carbon steel, prized worldwide for its sharpness and edge retention. Furthermore, they are heat treated only along the sharpened edge, allowing the “softer” steel of the spine to absorb impacts and reduce fatigue. Most SCAR blades offer full-tang construction and phenolic handles, and feature Kydex sheaths custom-fitted to each knife. Backed by a lifetime warranty, these are rugged knives, designed for the toughest tasks around. Made in the USA. Check out the new additions at www.knifecenter.com!

We’ve carried 5.11 Tactical products for several years here at KnifeCenter-until this point, it’s been mostly tactical knives-but now they’ve added their new line of ATAC LED flashlights, and there’s a lot to like!
Machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, ATAC flashlights are water-resistant, drop-resistant, and all but the PLx offer 3 lighting modes: high intensity (103-222 lumens depending on model), ultra-low intensity (10-15 lumens depending on model), and disorientation/strobe mode (high intensity).
Whether you use them on the battlefield, at the campsite, or around the house, these tough lights provide outstanding functionality at a great value! Check them out at www.knifecenter.com! Information on individual models below the break.

“You got saw in my machete!”
“You got machete in my saw!”
Okay, it probably didn’t happen like that. But United Cutlery has put out a new sawback kukri machete that is, pardon my French, pretty darn cool. At 21″ overall, it’s portable enough to bring on most any outdoor activity, and its robust 14-3/4″ full-tang blade is up to whatever task you can throw at it. Even better, it’s got sawback serrations to make nice clean cuts whether you’re building a survival shelter or just cutting that tree limb in the front yard down to size. It ships with a lanyard and a durable nylon sheath. Available in gray or yellow. Check ‘em out at www.knifecenter.com !

Constructed from tough, durable Polypropylene, throwing the 928BRG can help you hone your hand-eye coordination, plus it’s good exercise! At 28″ overall length, this beast is not to be trifled with. Please note: this is a hunting boomerang, it is not designed to return to the thrower. Cold Steel made it to hit hard, and that’s what it does! Take a look at this boomerang, and many other Cold Steel products at www.knifecenter.com!

The Biotac knife harness, designed by Ed Van Hoy and produced by Columbia River, will change the way you carry your fixed blade knives. Particularly great for neck knives, the Biotac allows you to position your knife comfortably in six basic inverted positions, and it is fully adjustable so that you can position it the way you like. The Biotac requires a positive locking sheath, with a snap or detent to hold the knife securely, because of the inverted carry. It works great for both open and concealed carry.
