KA-BAR Dozier Folding Series
Posted February 12, 2009 by Howard

KA-BAR Dozier Folding Series
This is a series we have had for a few years, but they extended onto it extensively for 2009. They are well designed and we use one in the shop and it seems to cut like crazy and stay sharp. They’re Taiwan made with good steel and classic Dozier design.

Becker Knife and Tool Reborn! Ka-Bar reissues most of the Becker series.
Ethan Becker is on of the great knife designers. We’re thrilled that Ka-Bar is building his knives with top quality materials and fit and finish in their USA plant and even more thrilled that we got in several more in their series. We now have 4 knives including the Tac Tool which is even more beefy that it was in the last incarnation from Camillus.

KaBar Becker Necker Neck Knife with Carbon San Mai Blade
Becker is back … again! Ethan Becker designs great knives; he just always seems to partner with manufacturers that proceed to go out of business. This time he has joined forces with the fine folks at Ka-Bar – and they’re not going anywhere. KaBar has the talent, resources and vision to build his knives better than they have been built before. A great example is the first knife they are releasing, the composite blade Necker. This Japanese produced version of the Necker is made from carbon San Mai steel. It is not only a beautiful knife, but a very functional and effective one.

Ka Bar FIN Series of Combat Folders

Ka Bar FIN Series of Combat Folders
Ka Bar has tried bringing in various imports in the past. Most are now on closeout. This series, however, was designed here in the US for the typical Ka Bar customer- the tactical knife crowd. Designed by Peter Janda, the FIN Folders are stout while maintaining a thin profile. The frame lock design ensures the blade will stay locked in open position even when gripped in a fist. The handle is all steel with 4 positions for the pocket clip. Blade shapes are mostly very creative and the steel is AUS 8A stainless.
