Dexter Duoglide Kitchen Knives made in the USA
Dexter Russell is the oldest manufacturer of kitchen knives in the US. They have been in existence in some form since the early 1800’s. Most of their products are made in the USA although they do offer some economy imports. This series that we are featuring, the Duoglide, is all American made. These have received the Arthritis Foundation’s Ease-of-Use Commendation. The shape is unique and they work really well in the kitchen. Although they are American made, they are still very reasonably priced.

The Cheese Knife Series
Plastic handles combine with the textured surface on the plastic blades to make this series able to cut through soft cheese or similar material while not having the material stick to the blade. They work well!

Kyocera Advanced Ceramics Ceramic Adjustable Grinder

Kyocera Advanced Ceramics Ceramic Adjustable Grinder
Kyocera has a lot of great ideas. Using a ceramic mechanism for a pepper mill is absolutely one of them./ Having metal workings has never particularly appealed to me, although I considered it a necessity. The ceramic is harder than steel and works cleaner and will absolutely leave less residue on anything you grind. These are also very reasonably priced.

Boker Magnetic Wood Kitchen Knife Block
A better Idea! We like this new knife storage system from Boker of Germany. The idea is a combination of a knife block and a wall magnet. Use strips of wood and put the strong magnets in them and you have an effective and attractive system. We have them in three colors. They are made in Germany. We have them at: www.knifecenter.com

Kyocera Ceramic Kitchen Products
Kyocera brought out he first ceramic kitchen products years ago. They are a huge, multinational corporation with a myriad of products including copiers, industrial machines and a few consumer kitchen products. They produce the finest ceramic products and we are proud to, once again, offer most of them directly to our customers. The items are made in Japan and not China like most of their competitors. Their peelers are world class and we now have several models in stock. They have several knife series and one with a damascus look to the ceramic blade.
