We’ve carried 5.11 Tactical products for several years here at KnifeCenter-until this point, it’s been mostly tactical knives-but now they’ve added their new line of ATAC LED flashlights, and there’s a lot to like!
Machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, ATAC flashlights are water-resistant, drop-resistant, and all but the PLx offer 3 lighting modes: high intensity (103-222 lumens depending on model), ultra-low intensity (10-15 lumens depending on model), and disorientation/strobe mode (high intensity).
Whether you use them on the battlefield, at the campsite, or around the house, these tough lights provide outstanding functionality at a great value! Check them out at www.knifecenter.com! Information on individual models below the break.

Gerber Fit Light Multi-Tool
Gerber Tools has created another unique multitool. It has some great features at a really great price. Even Gizmodo likes it and featured it on their page! Here’s what they said: “Can you believe this multi-tool costs just $30? With its sleek looks, nine tools plus a 25-lumen LED, it’s bloody good value for those late-night fumblings as you try and break into your own house.” (quoted from Kat Hannaford )

A really great deal on a simple, but useful neck knife. The Extreme Survival Neck Knife is similar to the popular ESSE (RAT Cutlery) Izula, but less expensive, so you can afford to beat it up or keep it as back up. It features either a simple polycarbonate sheath, or a polycarbonate knuckle guard sheath with an LED light, and is a great deal in either variation at only $18.95.

This light is over the top. It looks odd, kinda like a three headed monster, but it allows so much more functionality as well as improved heat dispersion. The three heads allow for three levels of output, from 8 lumens to 760 lumens, with runtimes from 232 hours down to 2 hours accordingly. There are also 3 strobe modes available. All of this in a waterproof light that runs on standard AA batteries. How cool is that?

Schrade STF1 Flashlight- Bright and Really Inexpensive
Schrade did a good job with this light. First, it’s only $32.95. The Schrade STF1 LED Light is solidly built, takes 2 standard AA batteries and has a great switch. The tail button can be depressed once for a bright light, twice to get a lower power, three times for a strobe and four for a red light and five for green. Then, once it is on, there is a button on the head that also cycles through the various options. This is a great light. It seems as bright as the Olight model OLI20 which is almost twice the price. That light is smaller and is also a great light, however. This Schrade is a good deal!

A tiny light that you can carry anywhere and is really bright—that’s what you need. Carry one on your coat zipper or your key ring. These are really useful! Designed in collaboration with survival equipment guru Doug Ritter, these lights weigh less than an ounce but produce 10 lumens of clear white output that projects up to 30 feet. The rotating bezel insures that you will never accidently turn it on. And at only $9.95 each, you can buy Dad several!
