The Hobbit Swords for 2013

We all loved the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings series of books. Then the movies came out! Years ago we sold the authentic swords and gear from the Lord of the Rings movies, but now, the first of three Hobbit movies is in theaters! We have some great items available. Mil-Tac Jason Breeden Tactical Bali Tool

There’s nothing like sitting around practicing your flipping skills with a quality butterfly knife. New from Mil-Tac, the Tactical Bali Tool designed by Jason Breeden is like nothing else you’ve ever flipped before. This butterfly knife does not have a locking latch but a pair of strong magnets in the handle that keep the knife open or closed without impeding flipping. There is a strong detent that keeps the knife closed so it will not open accidentally and once that initial force is overcome, the knife flips very smoothly. Breeden, also the designer of the Spyderco Captain, has a thing for multi-functional blades and his new Bali-Song does not disappoint. The base of the blade is a pry tool and the finger choil can double as a non-leather skull crusher but does not appear to be an able glass breaker. The 3-3/4″ N690Co blade is amazingly sharp from factory and is a simple shape with plenty of belly. The Tactical Bali Tool is a very cool new item, check it out at www.knifecenter.com.

United Cutlery has a great, new offering. Those of us that grew up watching sword fights in movies and on TV then tried to have sword fights with everything from tree limbs to Mom’s yardstick. It’s a wonder we didn’t all end up with less eyes and more scars. If only we had these cool, full contact foam weapons from Kit Rae and the folks at United.
