Our Shipping Options

We are constantly trying to improve our service to our customers as well as our bottom line as a business. Last year we began offering First Class mail as a domestic shipping option and it has been working out wonderfully. We are able to ship small packages at a rate of about $2.99 each. We switched to Mail Innovations recently which is a similar service cost wise, but it took a few extra days to arrive at the customer. The upside was that our processing time dropped incredibly and we could push many more packages through the system more quickly. The slowness of the delivery, though, has been causing our customers to complain and so we are now back on First Class Mail for most small domestic packages. We are also shipping First Class to Canada! This is a great service allowing track-able shipping at a really great rate. Soon, we will be able to use this service to over a dozen other countries.
We are just trying to offer the very best service possible to our customers. As many of you know- we have the best service in the industry!

New HTM M390 Torpedo Gunhammers are Here!

New HTM M390 Bowie Gunhammers are Here!

After the overwhelming success of our first run of Exclusive M390 Gunhammers, the KnifeCenter is extremely excited to see the new batch of these awesome tactical knives come in with the Torpedo style blade shapes. Available in either serrated or honed, spring-assisted or manual opening, you now have the choice between a tactical black DLC coated blade or an attractive Stonewashed finish. If you choose to go with a manual opening knife but are not familiar with the Maxx Glide Pivot System these knives utilize, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. This ball bearing design is exclusive to knives by Darrel Ralph and it really does close the speed gap between assisted and manual knives. With little to no wrist action, the blade flies open using the thumb studs or flipper mechanism and locks up solidly with the overly-thick titanium lockbar. M390 Steel from Bohler is an excellent performance steel balancing corrosion resistance and extremely high hardness (62HRC) which  provides superb wear resistance during hard use cutting. You can check out these new M390 Gunhammer models exclusively at www.knifecenter.com.

The White River Now Runs Through the KnifeCenter

The White River Now Runs Through the KnifeCenter

White River Knife & Tool was a new brand from Michigan that we discovered at the Blade Show in Atlanta this past month. They are producing some extremely high quality, functional knife designs and we knew they were a brand we had to offer to you guys. We chose to go with their cross-over Izula style knife, the Backpacker, and their small utility neck knife, the Knucklehead, thinking these models a pretty good representation of their overall brand. What sets White River Knives apart from the competition is that they’re machining all of these in-house from one solid piece of S30V. This stainless steel, from Crucible Materials Company, was the first steel specifically formulated to be used in knife making. Prized for it’s superior edge holding capabilities and corrosion resistance, CPM S30V will perform as well as your 1095 Carbon steel camp knives but rust at a fraction of the rate, even without the coating. All White River Knives come with a handmade Kydex sheath, an attached lanyard, and can be found at www.knifecenter.com.

New LionSteel in Stock at the KnifeCenter

New LionSteel in Stock at the KnifeCenter

LionSteel is an Italian knife company and, if you haven’t heard of them, it’s about time you did. They’re not a new company by any means but are gaining recognition throughout the knife industry for their extremely beautiful and high quality tools. LionSteel, like many companies, has a flagship model which they’re best known for; the SR-1. It’s a large, tactical/combat, frame-lock folder with a wicked 3.7″ blade and a handle made from one solid piece of machined aluminum or titanium. This makes this knife one of the stoutest on the market. LionSteel also manufactures some EDC/gentleman’s folding knives and higher end money clips but they are best known for their recent collaborations with DPx Gear for the HEST Folder and with Spyderco for the LionSpy. Everything is done in-house in Maniago, Italy from design and conception to stamping and finishing to ensure the utmost quality control. See the new LionSteel products at www.knifecenter.com.
