Every year Spyderco Knives produces limited production designs available in different handle or blade materials than their originals known as Sprint Runs. For 2012, they are upgrading the extremely popular Endura model, making the matching model to the Damascus/Jigged Bone Delica from 2011. Featuring layered VG-10 Damascus steel, blue titanium bolsters, and jigged bone scales, the Endura Sprint is great for any Spyderco fan or collector. The knife does not have a pocket clip and it adds a little weight to their Lightweight and FFG models, but you get so much more with this knife. It’s got the feel of a custom knife in the familiar package of an old favorite and the Damascus etching on each blade is unique, making each knife one of a kind. Spyderco Jester – The Return of a Great Knife
Spyderco Knives released the Jester many years ago and we loved it then! It’s a small key ring type folder without a pocket clip featuring a mid-back lock. The original had a plastic handle, but this re-release features a gray color G10 handle. This is a limited release called a “sprint run” and so they will be sold out soon. Grab one if you like them. Spyderco Knives has released their Tenacious folding knife model in all black. It really makes this every-day-carry type of economy Spyderco a great, stealth carry. The Tenacious series are perfectly sized folders geared for rough use for people who prefer a liner lock and G-10 handles. This is really the combination that made Benchmade and Emerson so successful, but put together is China for economy. The materials are still good as the reviews of current Tenacious models will show. Spyderco has partnered with the National Law Enforcement Officer Museum Foundation on this commemorative knife for a great cause. The Delica is one of Spyderco’s flagship knives and a portion of the proceeds for this model will be donated to the museum project. The Full Flat Ground Delica4 was introduced in 2010 and has become and instant hit in the knife community. The thinner blade profile is an absolute breeze to carry at only 2.4 oz. and it slices through coarse material with less drag than a traditional hollow grind. Now you can get this awesome blade in addition to assisting a good cause with the Spyderco NLEOMF Delica4. You can see this at www.knifecenter.com. Continue Reading

Spyderco c153GP Des Horn Folder
Recently arrived from Spyderco, we’re proud to offer the incredible new Des Horn Folder! Manufactured from CPM-s30V high-carbon stainless steel and furrowed Micarta handles, the resulting knife is surprisingly lightweight for its size, yet offers robust construction and edge retention.
Designed by South African dentist Des Horn, this awesome knife is his first collaboration with Spyderco. The blade includes elements of both a spear point and Wharncliffe shape, and is hollow ground to a razor sharp edge. The Des Horn Folder sports a Michael Walker Liner Lock and a deep-pocket wire clip for tip-down, right hand carry; yet it’s so light, you hardly even feel it in your pocket! Take a look at www.knifecenter.com-and remember, always brush and floss!

Spyderco UK Penknives with Combo Blades
UK Penknives have been a great addition to the Spyderco Knives lineup ever since they introduced them. These are medium sized folding pocketknives with no lock so that they can be legally carried in those countries (like the UK) that forbid locking folding knives. These new ones are the first we have seen that have a black handle and combination blade configuration: the cutting edge is partially serrated. This is a configuration that is preferred by many knife wielding customers of the KnifeCenter and we’re sure they will appreciate this option of the low cost UK penknife series. You can see these new black partially serrated versions at www.knifecenter.com

Spyderco C144GPGY Caly3.5 Folding Knife
Spyderco Knives has released the Caly 3.5 Folder in a special steel and it is really nice. I had forgotten that this knife is a great size and shape and this one features a wide, totally flat ground blade made of “Super Blue” steel which is supposed to be fantastic- see link below for more information. The handle is light weight and adequate for great control and the blade is a lot of blade for this handle. The handle is gray G10 on top of steel liners. The indented lockback is super strong and easy to use. We really like this knife and hope that anyone wanting one grabs one during this sprint run- they won’t last. See them at www.knifecenter.com
