United Combat Fighter w/ sheath $14.95

Posted February 19, 2013 by Howard

United Combat Fighter with sheath

United Combat Fighter w/ sheath $14.95
The KnifeCenter doesn’t feature many knives at this level of pricing. We like to sell quality products but we understand that there is a place for all types of tools. You may not have a $100 socket set in the trunk of your car for emergency use. A $10 special from the rack at your hardware store may do that that purpose. If you’re going into an outdoor arena where you need a good size knife but have a good chance of leaving it behind, you may not want a $300 Chris Reeve knife- maybe this is a great option. This is a heck of a deal at $14.95 and we just can’t get over the value for the dollar and overall features on this item. The sheath is a basic plastic but does a great job. We think this is an incredible value and that’s why we offer it to you at www.knifecenter.com

United Cutlery Willumsen Urban Tac Blondie

Posted May 8, 2012 by Nick

United Cutlery Willumsen Urban Tac Blondie

First and foremost, this is a wicked awesome knife. There’s no question the Urban Tac Blondie is a head turner but most people want to know how good the quality control is on these knives coming from China. The answer; very good. Paired with the 4-3/8″ Tanto blade is a deeply textured G10 handle scale providing great grip. At just over 10″ from tip to hilt, the Blondie is designed for tactical combat but can also perform many utility tasks with ease. The framelock is somewhat thin for a knife this size but the lockup is incredibly tight with no play at all in any direction. The pocket clip, though not reversible, is mounted in a very convenient location for deep, unobtrusive carry. At this price point, you will have a hard time finding a knife with comparable features that can do half the things the Blondie can. See the entire family at www.knifecenter.com.

Gil Hibben Hibben Sub Hilt Assault Bowie

Posted September 27, 2011 by Howard

Gil Hibben Sub Hilt Assault Bowie
Gil Hibben Hibben Sub Hilt Assault Bowie
This is a great sub-hilt combat knife from United Cutlery and designed by the infamous Gil Hibben. It has a Micarta handle that really fits your hand nicely- at least it fits mine which is a medium size. The price is exceptional especially when you compare it to the Cold Steel Black Bear model, although that one is of a much finer quality, made in Japan with San Mai steel. The look is similar, but the similarity doesn’t extend much further. Smith and Wesson came out with a monster subhilt recently that even has this one beat on price, although it doesn’t have Gil Hibben‘s sense of design. This Gil Hibben one is affordable and has a nice, leather sheath included. You can see them at www.knifecenter.com

United Cutlery SOA Assault Knife
United Cutlery SOA Assault Knife
United Cutlery puts out an interesting assortment of products. Some are fantasy, some are curiosities and some are decent usable products. This fixed blade SOA (Special Operations Association) model is one of the latter. They are economically produced in China (of course) and have a decent quality of steel (AUS-6) and a great pattern of relief on the Micarta handles. We can market these at $38.95 which is a great price for a decent knife. They have a Kydex sheath with a belt clip. You can see them at www.knifecenter.com

United Cutlery Survival Kukri Sawkback Machete

United Cutlery Survival Kukri Sawkback Machete

“You got saw in my machete!”

“You got machete in my saw!”

Okay, it probably didn’t happen like that. But United Cutlery has put out a new sawback kukri machete that is, pardon my French, pretty darn cool. At 21″ overall, it’s portable enough to bring on most any outdoor activity, and its robust 14-3/4″ full-tang blade is up to whatever task you can throw at it.  Even better, it’s got sawback serrations to make nice clean cuts whether  you’re building a survival shelter or just cutting that tree limb in the front yard down to size. It ships with a lanyard and a durable nylon sheath. Available in gray or yellow. Check ‘em out at www.knifecenter.com !
