Spyderco Knives Para Military with CPMD2 Very Hard Tool Steel Blade
Spyderco has come up with another winner with this Para Military model with the super hard and tough D2 steel. The G10 handle is foliage green.
Here is the description from Spyderco:
The Spyderco Para Military Model with a foliage green G-10 handle with a powdered metallurgy steel technology, CPM-D2 blade. The foliage green G-10 handle expands at the butt end, keeping the hand from slipping forward or backward. We topped the package off with a nested Compression Lock making the ultimate mid-sized survival knife. The black metal pocket clip carries tip-down. Made in Spyderco’s Golden plant.
Spyderco’s military patterned knives were breakout folders starting the public’s obsession with high performance military folders.
The Para-Military is a two-thirds sized version of the Military model.
When Spyderco introduced the Military model years ago, critics claimed it too big and more knife than the average user needed. Likewise, fans heralded the knife’s big performance attributes. We arrive at the question knifemakers ask everyday, “How do we satisfy both worlds and make a smaller knife that acts, cuts, and performs like a large knife?”
