Bear OPS Undead Series Stiletto

Bear OPS Undead Series Stiletto

Stilettos are known for their fast action, thin profiles, and symmetrical spear point blades. Bear OPS has created a smaller sized Stiletto folder that will serve you as an excellent EDC utility knife. The best thing about this knife, besides the S30V blade of course, is the lightweight yet strong aluminum handles. They’re shaped eerily similar and have the same anodized feeling as the Benchmade 940/943 and comes with a reasonably deep carry pocket clip. Take the Reaper Z handles or leave them, it’s up to you. For my money they’re something different in the collection so fine by me. This knife features a liner lock, smooth fast action, and flow-through design for easy cleaning. Proudly made in Alabama, this knife is available at www.knifecenter.com.

Brian Tighe Coon and Tighe Dye Folders

Tighe-Blog

CRKT has been pumping out the Brian Tighe designs hard and fast recently, and for good reason. Each and every model he comes up with is refreshingly different and once you get one in the hand, is hard to put down. The two newest to arrives through the KnifeCenter doors are the Tighe Coon and Tighe Dye folders. They both have flipper mechanisms, gray aluminum handles, button locks, and reasonably deep carry pocket clips. However, apart from these material similarities, they really are quite different designs. The Dye model is a single edged version of an Italian Stiletto, but the handle provides a much more stout feeling for more demanding cutting tasks. The Tighe Coon knife is ultra smooth opening with a slightly recurved drop point blade for better slicing performance. Both knives feature mirror polished AUS-8 blades and are built like tanks. Check out these Tighet new knives at www.knifecenter.com.

TactiCall Alpha 1 iPhone 5 Cases are TactiCool!

TactiCall iPhone 5 Cases are TactiCool!

If you’re looking for a conversation starter, something that will impress each and every person you show it to, this is it! True, many people will scoff at it or ask you what happens when you encounter a TSA agent with this in your pocket, but that’s neither here nor there. It’s the convenience of having a blade with you at all times, even if you forget your EDC knife, and ease of which you can remove the case with the torx bit it comes with that makes this an excellent product. All you have to do is pop out the four corner screws and viola, you’re in business. I’ve had my TactiCall for a little over a month now and after you get used to the added weight, it really becomes a highly useful and functional tool. I was wary at first that the bottle opener would apply too much force to the back side of the phone and could break it, but that’s definitely not the case, ha. The opener is strongly reinforced by the design of the case and it pops the tops off quickly and effectively the first time, every time. The knife comes as sharp as any karambit blade out there and locks up solidly right out of the packaging. The pivot is adjustable if any play develops using the same supplied torx tool as you use to remove the case, so you always have a properly functioning knife. This is a very useful product and does an excellent job protecting your iPhone 5, check it out at www.knifecenter.com.

Kershaw Kurai: Style, Substance, And Fantastic Value

Every once in a while, our friends over at Kershaw Knives come out with something new that generates a buzz around our office. When we first laid eyes on the new Kurai, we knew that they had come up with something really interesting.

The Kurai is a gentleman’s folder with style to spare, with carbon fiber-patterned aluminum handle scales. It doesn’t sacrifice substance either-it’s heavy for its size (in a good way), and its 2.5″ 8Cr13MoV blade with Titanium Carbo-Nitride coating provides great performance and corrosion resistance at an extremely reasonable price. Opening is smooth and easy with the thumb stud, and the linerlock is nice and solid. The Kurai makes a great gift, too! Check them out today at www.knifecenter.com!

The CRKT Ken Onion Foresight is One Smooth Tactical Folder

The CRKT Ken Onion Foresight is Here

Recently anointed the Best Imported Knife of 2012 at the Blade Show in Atlanta, the CRKT Foresight has now arrived at the KnifeCenter. This truly is a robust tactical folder with a 3.5″ Titanium-Nitride coated AUS 8 blade, available with or without serrations. The handle is extremely well contoured, anodized aluminum to provide a firm hold on the knife in both the forward and reverse grips. The added finger grooves are identical on both sides so both righties and lefties can get an extremely comfortable grip for hard use cutting. Featuring the Ikoma Korth Bearing System (IKBS), you might think this knife is an assisted model as it flies open so fast. It’s just that silky-smooth. The clip is quite strong and carries deeply in the pocket but is only situated for tip down, right hand carry. This is actually a safety feature of the design to minimize the chances of the blade opening when it’s entering or exiting your pocket. An extremely stout folding knife design, the Foresight is a great tactical blade that is perfectly designed to be a large EDC folder as well. You can find this new brilliant Ken Onion knife at www.knifecenter.com.
