Benchmade Aphid Folding Knives
We remember the Aphid series and we liked them a lot. These new ones are nicer, though, with a great assisted opening mechanism. Not sure why Benchmade picked the name Aphid for this knife—especially after reading about Aphids on Wikipedia. Ladybugs are a natural predator of Aphids… don’t anyone tell Spyderco. All of that silliness aside, this is a very cool little assisted opening gentleman’s tactical. We like the style, the size, the opening action, and the price. We’re just not so sure about the name…

Benchmade has the capacity to make these knives available to more people, at a lower price, and at the finest American quality. The first model is in our warehouse in limited quantities, and they are all we could have hoped for!

Lone Wolf Knives Paul Executive New Handles
Lone Wolf Knives creates some great knives. The Paul Knives have been a hit since they reintroduced them years ago. These Executive models are really great and the handles are striking. The Snakewood is just really classy. The inlaid model is worked by Santa Fe Stoneworks and is really handsome.

Case Desk Knife Red Bone Handles
Case Knives has come up with a very different model of knife. This is called, by Case Knives, a “desk knife” because it is an elegant, small knife with a straight edge, ATS34 blade and a very nice leather sheath. It also has a hefty price tag, but we think they will find a market anyway. The first of the Desk Knives to be received has a red bone handle. There will be others from Case Knives and maybe very soon, including mother of pearl as a handle material. You can see them at: www.knifecenter.com

Lone Wolf Paul® Executive Gentlemen’s Folder Snake Wood Handles
Nothing like a Paul Knife! This one is awesome with snakewood handles and a black-ti coating on the frame and blade. Really handsome.
The Paul knives from Lone Wolf have appeared in several forms to date. This new Paul Executive is a great size. It’s not as short feeling as its 2.5″ blade would make it seem, but it is very slim.
