Buck Vantage Series of US Made Folders
Buck Knives is a great American company. They don’t rest on their past accomplishments and they keep coming up with great products. Buck is trying to move production back to the US for new items and these are a wonderful example. Two sizes of folders with a variety of handle and blade materials. Prices start at $19.95 and for an American made folder, that’s not bad!
So far, we have just gotten in the basic models in large and small size. These have the Buck Steel (420HC) and plastic handles, but they work and feel really great. The flipper opens them smoothly and quickly, although they are not assisted. The handle material has a really solid feel and have full steel liners. The polished pocket clip is attached to allow reversible, deep pocket carry. These are well engineered folders and we are glad to have them at www.knifecenter.com.

Spyderco Para Military Model Black Blade Digital Camo Handle>
The Para Military model of combat folder from Spyderco is a great knife. We sell a lot at www.knifecenter.com and like the various releases. It’s a perfect size for almost any chore and the materials and style work really well. It’s basically a combat knife, although it can be used in almost any way, and so the camo handle is a natural. This one also has a black blade which also seems right for more stealth applications. These feature a “compression lock” which is, basically, a liner lock on the top side of the handle.

Kershaw Ken Onion Pack Rat Assisted Opener
Kershaw and Ken Onion keep coming up with great designs. This American made assisted opener has all the right stuff- great materials with a Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade, G10 handles with stainless liners, a thick liner for its liner locking system and a pronounced flipper built into the blade. The size is medium with a 3-1/4″ blade and the shape is awesome. The upswept blade that seems to call out for work. The RatPack is a great addition to the Kershaw lineup.
The first batch we got in has “1 of 500 First Production” on the blade. We cannot guarantee you will get one of these unless you call us to look at the knife you are ordering.

Spyderco Khukuri by Ed Schempp
Spyderco has some of the coolest knives in the world. This Kuhkhri folder is among them and, naturally, it came by way of the visionary knife maker, Ed Schempp. This knife, when folded, feels like a very small folder. Because the blade is bent, when it is open the blade is really pretty significant. This makes an ideal every day carry knife. Spyderco will often bring these models out in short runs and, if they don’t keep selling well, will discontinue them. If this appeals to you, grab one. We like them a lot.
Here is the Spyderco data on this knife: Continue Reading
