New Zero Tolerance Model 0350OR and 0550BLK

New Zero Tolerance Model 0350 and 0550s

The very popular model 0350 has added yet another new variation to the family, this one with bright orange handles. The G10 on this model is slightly thicker than previous versions making for a more comfortable knife to hold and to use. The 3-1/4″ recurved blade is best described as a mix of bead blasted and stonewashed for a good looking and most likely very durable blade finish. The 0550BLK is the same exact knife as it was before but with a black DLC coated S35VN blade. The titanium locking side features the new more-Hinderer inspired frame lock and the same deep carry pocket clip found on the 0560 and 0561 models. Excellent ergonomics, good looks, and a real sense of toughness emanates from these two knives and there’s no doubt both would serve well in just about any application. Check out these brand new Zero Tolerance knives at www.knifecenter.com.

Boker Plus Kwaiken Slim Tactical Folder

Boker Plus Kwaiken Slim Tactical Folder

A Kwaiken is very simplistic Japanese style short sword with a slim, slender profile which can be easily concealed. Carried by both the samurai men and women, it was preferred when either a Katana or Wakizashi was too large or impractical to use. The Boker Plus Kwaiken is a folding interpretation of this knife designed by Lucas Burnley out of New Mexico. It features the classic Kwaiken blade shape, sleek Micarta scales, a tight pocket clip, and a very attractive stonewashed finish. The thumb disk is very difficult to actuate right out of the box but with everything in life, just a little practice and thumb pressure to the right area finds this knife flying open extremely fast. This is due to the IKBS bearing system found on a couple CRKT knives which, for the money, is the smoothest opening system on the market. This knife may not be for everyone but it is a very well constructed tactical design with all the elegance typical of Boker designs. Check this knife out at www.knifecenter.com.

Spyderco Cricket with Nishijin Glass Fiber Handles

Spyderco Cricket with Nishijin Glass Fiber Handles

The Cricket has been produced by Spyderco since 1994 but only recently has it begun to receive the recognition it really deserves. It’s an excellent utility knife with a small re-curved hawkbill blade that absolutely tears through material with ease. New for 2012, the beautiful Nishijin Glass Fiber Handled Cricket transforms this knife from a nice back-up EDC blade to a full on, sweet Gentlemen’s knife. The width of the handle design and a nice finger choil really give you a positive three finger grip for easy pull cuts. The thin framelock provides solid lock-up and keeps the profile slim in your pocket. The Cricket is fully adjustable with torx screws and for many doubles as a more funactional money clip due to the robust pocket clip it has set up for tip down carry. It’s an extremely functional little knife and for it’s size, is unmatched in cutting power. You can find this excellent design from Spyderco at www.knifecenter.com.

The CRKT Ken Onion Foresight is One Smooth Tactical Folder

The CRKT Ken Onion Foresight is Here

Recently anointed the Best Imported Knife of 2012 at the Blade Show in Atlanta, the CRKT Foresight has now arrived at the KnifeCenter. This truly is a robust tactical folder with a 3.5″ Titanium-Nitride coated AUS 8 blade, available with or without serrations. The handle is extremely well contoured, anodized aluminum to provide a firm hold on the knife in both the forward and reverse grips. The added finger grooves are identical on both sides so both righties and lefties can get an extremely comfortable grip for hard use cutting. Featuring the Ikoma Korth Bearing System (IKBS), you might think this knife is an assisted model as it flies open so fast. It’s just that silky-smooth. The clip is quite strong and carries deeply in the pocket but is only situated for tip down, right hand carry. This is actually a safety feature of the design to minimize the chances of the blade opening when it’s entering or exiting your pocket. An extremely stout folding knife design, the Foresight is a great tactical blade that is perfectly designed to be a large EDC folder as well. You can find this new brilliant Ken Onion knife at www.knifecenter.com.

United Cutlery Willumsen Urban Tac Blondie

United Cutlery Willumsen Urban Tac Blondie

First and foremost, this is a wicked awesome knife. There’s no question the Urban Tac Blondie is a head turner but most people want to know how good the quality control is on these knives coming from China. The answer; very good. Paired with the 4-3/8″ Tanto blade is a deeply textured G10 handle scale providing great grip. At just over 10″ from tip to hilt, the Blondie is designed for tactical combat but can also perform many utility tasks with ease. The framelock is somewhat thin for a knife this size but the lockup is incredibly tight with no play at all in any direction. The pocket clip, though not reversible, is mounted in a very convenient location for deep, unobtrusive carry. At this price point, you will have a hard time finding a knife with comparable features that can do half the things the Blondie can. See the entire family at www.knifecenter.com.
