Cold Steel Voyagers Come In!

Cold Steel Medium Vaquero Voyager
Cold Steel Voyagers
Cold Steel Knives are awesome. Their Voyager series has been a KnifeCenter favorite for over a decade and their Vaquero style blades are also favorites. I, personally, have carried a Vaquero Grande (no longer available) for years in my cars, right by my left hand in case I should ever need it and it is one of the most effective weapons you can have. They have since integrated the vaquero style blades into the Voyager series and we feel this makes a lot of sense. They are made the same and it makes the selection more straight forward. We’ve finally started getting them all in!

We’ve finally started getting them in! This is the medium Voyager with the non-serrated vaquero style recurved blade. It’s a great knife. The “medium” size is actually the smallest of the Voyager series and this one sports a 3″ blade. The finish is now a stone washed one which is not polished but is slightly mottled looking. It works well for this folder. The lockback is one of the strongest locking systems you will find. The “recurve” on this small knife is less pronounced than you will find on the larger knives. This is a small to medium sized folding pocket knife that would be great for a backup but there is a lot of steel on that blade so it can do some serious work. You can see them at www.knifecenter.com

Spyderco Matriarch Flat Ground Folding Knife

Spyderco Matriarch Flat Ground Folding Knife
Spyderco Matriarch Recurved Folding Knife
One of the most anticipated Spyderco Sprint runs of the last several years is the Matriarch with Coco brown Zytel (FRN) handles. We don’t know how many we will be able to get before they are all gone, so do not tarry. This smaller version of the ever-popular Civilian is the ultimate in a self defense tool, even for the untrained. This is one of the few Spydercos that, because of its application, is as popular in serrated as it is in plain.
