Remember the Gerber Command II In Style
The Gerber Command II was a well received combat knife first manufactured in 1981. With a design based on the Mark II, the Command II featured a single edge as opposed to the Mark II‘s double edge, and serrations only at the tip of the unsharpened edge. This allowed the Command II to get around laws against double edged knives, which prohibited the Mark II.
To celebrate the upcoming anniversary of this popular knife, Gerber has chosen to issue a 30th anniversary version of the Command II made with S30V steel. The knife comes with a leather sheath, a wooden display case, and a certificate of authenticity. This is a limited edition knife, with only 1500 being made, so get yours today!

SOG Fusion Fixation Fixed Blades
SOG’s combat fixed blades are legendary. Originally, they were all made in the finest factories in Japan. SOG has since moved most of their production to Taiwan. Then, they discovered the quality manufacturing now available in China and they are really taking advantage of it. These are classic SOG designs and the quality is great. The pricing, though, is really incredible. While the dollar still buys something extra from mainland China, you should take advantage of these great values. These fixed blades are well made. The materials are pretty good, too. Both of the full sized fixed blades are for sale for under $35 each! It generally costs more than that to buy a sheath!
SOG has this to say about these: Continue Reading
SOG Fusion Salute Combat Folders
SOG has made combat knives since their beginning and they are good at it. They have gotten on board with getting quality production done in China under their Fusion name. These tactical folders called “Salutes” are really a great accomplishment. They are full featured lockbacks – and the lockback system is super strong – with deep pocket clips, solid, G10 handles with steel liners and a unique adjustable thumb stud. We like these folders. You get all this for less than $30 for the silver blade model!!! Add a black coating to the blade and you’re still under $34. We’re impressed!

Ontario’s Gen II Spec Plus Combat Knives
Ontario’s Spec Plus line has been a staple of combat forces around the world for many years. They offer a variety of fixed blades not found elsewhere. This Generation 2 series has a more refined look and feel with a better finish to the blades and handles. Instead of 1095 epoxy powder coated-carbon steel blades, they are using 5160 Steel and a Phosphate finish. They look and feel great and are still made in the USA.
Art of War Economical Combat Knives
Art of War is a new line of well designed combat knives. They have learned from all the combat knives that have preceded them and put together a great selection of both fixed blades and folders. They all feature top quality 440C stainless steel blades with black titanium nitride coating for abrasion resistance and G10 handles. So, the materials are all 1st rate. Then the designs seem to be time tested classics with double guards built in to the folders as well as fixed blades and all the goodies one expects with modern combat knives. Sheaths on fixed blades have a notch cut out to allow for cord cutting with the knife still sheathed. Slots on the sheath allow for multiple carry methods. Handles are grooved for better grip. Then there are lots of other features including a limited lifetime warranty. One of the best features, however, is the incredible pricing they are offering. You can get a lot of knife for a really reasonable investment. Sometimes you don’t want to carry a $200 knife- you want something that, if you lose, you can order another without blinking.
