Zero Tolerance has become well known in the knife community for making wide blades of quality materials and near-unbreakable toughness. People around the world have been calling for a slimmer, lighter knife built to the same stout standards and ZT responded excellently with the model 0780. Loosely based off the ZT0160 combat fixed blade, it incorporates features from different Kershaw and ZT knives to make for a useful and ergonomic design. It’s got a solid skull crusher on the end, nicely textured G10 handle scales, and a four-position deep carry pocket clip for secure carry. The 3.5″ S30V blade has sharp, functional jimping on the spine and can be opened with either the flipper mechanism or the tapered thumbstuds that Kershaw uses on the Blur models. The knife has an entirely black tactical look but at 4.0 ounces and very slim in the closed position, it is definitely the right size to have on your person at all times. The design my be quirky and unfamiliar to most but in no way does that mean that it’s an inferior tool. In the case of the new Zero Tolerance 0750 assisted folder, the unique blade and handle shape actually make it a superior knife for many different applications. Designed to be especially useful for draw cuts and in the reverse grip, the talon shaped S30V blade is an absolutely ferocious cutter. The reverse curved handle is surprisingly comfortable to use normally but it really shines in the reverse grip, locking into the hand very tightly. This makes this knife a superb last ditch tactical defense weapon for more powerful slash cuts and you can find it at www.knifecenter.com.

Rick Hinderer Model from Zero Tolerance
Zero Tolerance produces some fine knives. They are all American made and are an extraordinary sample of American high quality manufacturing and design. This new model, the ZT0550, is one of their finest. It is a full size folder with a frame lock system. The blade is an aggressive shape using the newer style triabngle style with a wide base. The blade material is the top quality S35VN that a lot of custom makers use. There are four positions for the pocket clip. That frame lock is a massive system. The back side of the handle is titanium and the locking section of the handle folds over to lock the blade open. It’s really secure.

Zero Tolerance 0350 Composite Knives
When we heard that Zero Tolerance was going to be offering their awesome 0350 in ZDP-189 steel, we were blown away. Then, they announced a composite version with an S30V spine and a ZDP-189 cutting edge, and blew us away again.
Offered in a satin finish, these gorgeous knives allow the user to clearly view the delineation between the two steels. ZDP-189 is one of the highest-performing stainless steels in the knife industry today, prized for its hardness and edge retention capabilities-and results in a WICKEDLY sharp knife (as my index finger discovered while writing this blog entry).
Designed by Ken Onion and manufactured in the USA, the composite 0350s offer the patented SpeedSafe® assisted opener, allowing smooth one-handed opening. These knives sport textured G-10 handles an adjustable quad-carry pocket clip. They’re available in both plain and partially-serrated edges. Individually numbered, these limited-edition knives are going fast, so pick one up (carefully!) at www.knifecenter.com!

New Zero Tolerance 0700 Model Pocketknife
The new Zero Tolerance 0700 is a very tip heavy tanto blade, and we like it! The handles are thin but comfortable to grab in both forward and reverse grip. The blade is S30V, the scales are G10, nothing is second rate. Although not as heavy as some other Zero Tolerance models, it does not compromise blade strength. If you need an under 5 inch tactical folder with a strong, aggressive blade, this is the knife you want.

New Zero Tolerance Model 0160 Combat Knife
Zero Tolerance designs their knives with a no-nonsense attitude. These are knives that are meant for heavy duty use in combat situations. The Model 0160 is no exception. The full flat tang ensures stability and power, reflected in the heft of the knife. The blade, on the other hand, will hardly reflect anything at all, because of the Tungsten DLC coating. The thick spine reinforces the knife’s power, while the sleek shape boosts the agility. The sheath utilizes a positive holding system that holds the knife well, but it also includes a snap strap for extra security.
As an American made item, you know that the materials are high quality as well, with premium Sandvik 14C28N steel for the blade, and grippy 3D machined G-10 scales.
