Rick Hinderer Model from Zero Tolerance
Zero Tolerance produces some fine knives. They are all American made and are an extraordinary sample of American high quality manufacturing and design. This new model, the ZT0550, is one of their finest. It is a full size folder with a frame lock system. The blade is an aggressive shape using the newer style triabngle style with a wide base. The blade material is the top quality S35VN that a lot of custom makers use. There are four positions for the pocket clip. That frame lock is a massive system. The back side of the handle is titanium and the locking section of the handle folds over to lock the blade open. It’s really secure.

Benchmade Adamas Series from Shane Sibert
Benchmade Knives has specialized in combat tactical knives, pretty much, from day 1. Their original Emerson models built the company. The Sibert MPR has been a popular combat folder since it was introduced last year. This new series of ADAMAS folders takes it to the full size folder class. These feature a D2 tool steel blade which is very hard and these are coated to avoid any corrosion. If you are our and about and need a full size folding knife, this may be the one you will want. It goes head to head with Strider and other heavy combat knives and is still affordable and available (at least so far).

Cold Steel Voyagers
Cold Steel Knives are awesome. Their Voyager series has been a KnifeCenter favorite for over a decade and their Vaquero style blades are also favorites. I, personally, have carried a Vaquero Grande (no longer available) for years in my cars, right by my left hand in case I should ever need it and it is one of the most effective weapons you can have. They have since integrated the vaquero style blades into the Voyager series and we feel this makes a lot of sense. They are made the same and it makes the selection more straight forward. We’ve finally started getting them all in!

Boker Plus Rambler Fixed 2-3/4″ Blade
A very cool little knife from Boker Plus. It was designed by an Austrian knifemaker and is really very unique. It is small and meant to be a backup knife in most situations. The sheath is a belt sheath and not a neck sheath as would be expected for a knife of this size. Looks are deceiving from the image because this knife could scale up perfectly to be a very useful camping or even kitchen knife, but at the size at which it has been produced, it is a backup- belt knife. I really like it, especially the design and materials, but you have to have a need or desire for a knife of this diminutive size. You can see them at www.knifecenter.com
