After the overwhelming success of our first run of Exclusive M390 Gunhammers, the KnifeCenter is extremely excited to see the new batch of these awesome tactical knives come in with the Torpedo style blade shapes. Available in either serrated or honed, spring-assisted or manual opening, you now have the choice between a tactical black DLC coated blade or an attractive Stonewashed finish. If you choose to go with a manual opening knife but are not familiar with the Maxx Glide Pivot System these knives utilize, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. This ball bearing design is exclusive to knives by Darrel Ralph and it really does close the speed gap between assisted and manual knives. With little to no wrist action, the blade flies open using the thumb studs or flipper mechanism and locks up solidly with the overly-thick titanium lockbar. M390 Steel from Bohler is an excellent performance steel balancing corrosion resistance and extremely high hardness (62HRC) which provides superb wear resistance during hard use cutting. You can check out these new M390 Gunhammer models exclusively at www.knifecenter.com.

The DPx HEFT is the bigger, more versatile brother of the original HEST model. Fit with German Sleipner tool steel and hollow removable scales, the knife is ideal for hard use work out in the woods or to protect your life. Available with a 4 or 6 inch blade and in a tactical Assault or camping Woodman configuration, there’s a model to fit everyone’s individual style. You can see these at www.knifecenter.com.

Russ Kommer is a hunting guide in Alaska, and his designs reflect the hard-use conditions of his home state. The new Timberline Bush Guide Hatchet and Skinner set features thick spines, and wear resistant materials. These are tools that could be taken out into the frozen Alaskan wilderness on a hunting trip, used to field dress the kill, and then taken back out the next week for camping in the deserts of Arizona. The hatchet can be used for cleaving bones or chopping firewood. The skinning knife could be used for skinning an elk, or slicing a steak for dinner.

Boker Plus SOB (Spec Ops Blade)
We’ve mentioned the lack of gentleman’s fixed blades on the market these days, and though it is a little on the big side, we think the new Boker Spec Ops Blade falls into this great category. The SOB, as it is called, features Micarta scales and a Kydex sheath that can be matched to a Tek-Lok—though it is not included. The knife is comfortable in the hand, and the modified sheepsfoot blade is built for a variety of tasks—utility, tactical, and even culinary!
Following is the Boker Knives description:
Buck Knives is a great American manufacturer. So, when they bring back production on products from China to the US, we applaud their support of American workers. Their products are always first rate and the new line of Clearwater fillet knives made in the Idaho factory attest to the great design and quality control that made them world famous. This new line is available in a variety of sizes, for all kinds of fishermen. You can see them at www.knifecenter.com

BokerPlus VoxKnives Rold Camp Knife
BokerPlus keeps coming out with incredible products – especially large fixed blades. This new VOX model is awesome– and I’m not just saying that! It has a full size (over 6″ x 1.5″) flat ground D2 blade. That alone gives it real knife lover cred. The handle is contoured G-10 to give a great and comfortable grip. The moster full tang is framed with the red layer before the G-10. The two holes in the handle give it a unique look and can serve as a lanyard hole- it comes with a Nylon lanyard through the rear hole. It is sort of simple, utilitarian, tough materials and great style all combined into one knife. The sheath is simple Kydex and a Tek-Lok is included. All this for just over $100 is a great deal. You can see them at www.knifecenter.com
