The theme this week is “new and improved!” With killer new handles on excellent knives like the White River Camp Cleaver, the Spyderco Endura and Delica, and the Mora Basic series, there is a lot to love.
Is it a tactical combat knife or a wilderness blade? That’s for you to decide. The Combat Kukri from KA-BAR is an extremely versatile knife built to handle the toughest tasks with ease. Fitted with an 8-1/2″ curved blade, the Kukri is well designed for chopping and hacking or for draw cuts and slashes. The Kraton handle provides a good, hand-filling grip and also helps to reduce shock absorbed by the hand. The pommel at the butt end adds to the knife’s capabilities, allowing for light hammering and smashing duties. For a knife measuring in at just over 13″, the best thing about the Combat Kukri is it’s weight. At 13.4 ounces, you get enough weight behind it to get the job done but the balance of the knife makes it feel much lighter and it’s very very maneuverable. Whether you’re a combat professional or weekend camper, try out a Combat Kukri for yourself and find out just how great this knife really is. Best of all, it’s proudly made in the USA and available at www.knifecenter.com.
More from KA-BAR:
Back in September, we showcased Lynn Thompson’s new collaborative lockback design with Andrew Demko – the Ultimate Hunter. Now, we have a more discreet black G10 variation to go alongside their highly visible orange model. Both come equipped with premium S35VN steel and Cold Steel’s legendarily strong Tri-Ad Lock, making them some of the most durable folding outdoorsmen knives we’ve seen recently.
It has gotten to the point where the only place a man can be swashbuckling is in his own backyard. The clever folks at Condor took their experience making all sorts of machetes, and applied it to a short sword. Now you don’t have to destroy that prized saber when there is Kudzu to hack or bamboo to beat back. The Condor Cutlass is black coated carbon steel with a plastic handle, to keep the cost down and functionality up. Oh yeah… and it is ridiculously fun to use!

You watched the Chaos Tanto deal serious damage to a pick-up truck. Can you imagine all that power in one awesome Black Friday bundle?
Three times the Chaos, one great price – only $99.95 (shipped anywhere in the US) for three incredibly tough, high-performance knives. You can keep all three for yourself, divvy them out amongst your friends, or give the whole bundle to someone who is going to put that hard steel to work. This three-for-one deal saves you hundreds of dollars!
Cold Steel is known for making blades that are overbuilt and can take one heck of a beating. Inspired by the greatest fighting knives in history, their Chaos Series of fixed blades lives up to that legacy perfectly, combining maximum safety and security with extreme performance and combat potential.

Scorpion Knives are a new brand for us here at the KnifeCenter and they are some of the most well designed, overbuilt fixed blades we have ever seen. Most, well actually all the knife designers at Scorpion use their real world experiences to bring new features and uses to their particular knife designs. From Chris Caine, Anton du Plessis, and John Wiseman to Geoff Todd, John Campbell, and Bob Beasley, Scorpion Knives are specifically designed to do all the tasks expected by both the combat soldier and survival enthusiast. Using a variety of blade and handle materials, one thing remains constant; a 3/16″ (or thicker) full tang slab of hardened steel is the heart of the knife. Check one out today for yourself and you will not be disappointed. See the entire line at www.knifecenter.com.
