By now you’re probably used to seeing Wusthof knives with classic black riveted handles, but their Epicure Series of kitchen knives are definitely a step above. The handles are still a full tang riveted design, but instead of black synthetic scales, the Epicure knives feature recycled wood material. In fact, this is the same material that Epicurean uses for their cutting boards. What that means for you is a definite upgrade, not just in the feel, but the performance as well. We’re going to break down everything about these stellar kitchen knives and tell you why you need these in your kitchen.
The Shun Sora Collection brings Shun’s premium cutting experience into a more affordable price range. They are a step above entry-level blades in terms of cost, but they represent an incredible value, offering materials and performance that are a cut above their competitors. There are a full range of options available in the lineup, from paring knives to serrated knives and full-size chef and santoku knives. Let’s check a few of them out. Continue Reading
